Húkǒu huà is a variety of Changdu, sometimes called Nanchang or Nanchangese, which is part of the wider Gan languages. Húkǒu huà is primarily spoken in Hukou county in the Jiangxi province. Gan is a group of Sinitic languages spoken natively by over 23 million people in the Jiangxi province of China, as well as significant populations in surrounding regions such as Hunan, Hubei, Anhui, and Fujian.
