Waurá is an Arawakan language spoken by the Waujá people in Brazil. There are approximately 320 speakers of Waurá, primarily in the state of Mato Grosso. The Waujá people are indigenous to the Upper Xingu River of Brazil, as are the Mehinako. Mehináku, another Arawakan language, is partially intelligible with Waurá.
