Sekgalagadi, also known as Kgalagadi, is a Bantu language spoken in Botswana, along the South African border. It is spoken by about 40,000 people, with a need for more education and digital resources. Project plans for revitalizing the language include in-person training sessions for Wikipedia projects, translating articles in Wikipedia into Sekgalagadi, having online calls to follow up on project progress at least twice a month, and running monthly projects on different sections of the Sekgalagadi language.

There are currently no attempts to revitalize the Sekgalagadi language, and this project will be the first of its kind. Sekgalagadi is slowly depleting due to English being the language of instruction in schools, along with English and Setswana being the two official languages of the country. To help combat this political climate, Oteng also plans to travel to the village where her language is found to learn more about the language and culture from the elders. She wants to invite these elders to travel and teach the younger generations about the Sekgalagadi language and culture.
